Inspirations for the Kitchen

Using the EBC on worktops, credenzas and counters will offer original colours, forms and even curves.

The worktop substrate must be meticulously prepared in this « technical » room since it is subject to frequent cleaning. Moreover, you need to make sure that there is no change left for water infiltrations.

The application of the coating must be « tight » in order to obtain a smooth surface that would be easily cleaned on a regular basis.

The use of an adapted varnish and fnish will ensure protection against usual agressive agents.

A rich colour chart for the 2 types of decorative concrete will give you an opportunity to work with contransts and oppositions or to find the harmony floor-credenza-worktop for a more monochrome environment. Do not forget that the « whites » demand more maintenance and care. On the other hand, the traces of water scale tend to be more visible on dark shades.

Why don’t you try to cover your walls and credenza with letters made in Layered Polished Concrete using a stencil? It will help to enliven gourmet messages on your walls or to define the limits of different work zones of your kitchen… The possibility to inlay other materials such as pices of pâte de verre or enamels  into the decorative concrete will let your imagination be  carried away.
